I'm soooooo glad that you made it out of that situation intact. To hell with the bike, I'm glad YOU are OK. I have seen it over and over myself from past experiences of my on, and there is no way to do that kind of riding "all by yourself". I know I couldn't pull some of the manuevers I've done agian to avoid wrecks, not even on a bet, without "someone" looking out for me. I can't say it enough, I'm glad you are unhurt. If anybody tries to rain on your parade, Stef and I will be happy to give you an umbrella. Not to keep the rain off, but to whack the offending person upside the head! I'm glad you are OK.
(Sidebar) One of your statements reminds me of a joke. An Atheist is in the military, and is shipped out to battle. He meets soldiers of all faiths, and explains that he is an Atheist when the ask about his faith. After a few weeks, an old battle hardened soldier comes upon the Atheist and notices that he is wearing, around his neck, a gold cross, a Star of David, and arrow head, a rabbits foot, and a small Buddah, among other religious articles. The old soldier looks at him and asks "What happened? I thought you didn't have any 'faith' in anything?" The Atheist looks up and says, "After being out here for a few weeks, I ain't taking no chances!"
